Sensei Carlsen Ma and three students representing Bright Martial Arts & Fitness-Shotokan Karate went to Richmond to take part in the second Canada Open Karate Championships on June 2.
The event is again the largest in Canada, out of more than 600 competitors, our team members took home a total of 4 medals.

Noah Law: Gold in Boys 10/11 Novice Kata
Curtis Ma: Bronze in Boys 10 Intermediate Kata
Nathan Yung: 4th place in Boys 9 Novice Kata
